TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS
"A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted."
Ecclesiastes 3:2b
As a company that strives to witness to our niche market sector by operating on Christian principles, it has become apparent that we are falling short of that standard by our inability to provide the level of attention and care due to every customer as an image bearer of God. In an effort to honor our current customers who have trusted us with their hard-earned money, we are taking this pause to settle our outstanding business with them by fulfilling their orders. The rifle company that grows, falls behind on orders, sits on extensive lead times of unfulfilled orders, and then closes its doors in silence is a tale as old as time. Over the past year especially, we have started to slip into this trap. While there is a blessing in the success, it is not right for our current customers to suffer in patience while we actively petition for new ones.
So, what does this mean for Munitionworks? In the short term, we have plotted out a schedule to get right over the next two months. Our books will be closed to orders for new builds from November 5, 2025 through December 1, 2025. During this "get right" season, our priorities in order are as follows:
01
Fulfilling Existing Orders
We have plotted a course for the next month to get all outstanding orders out the door by the last week of November. If, for any reason, your order will not be ready by then, I will contact you directly and provide an updated timeline and/or coordinate accommodations to make the deadline of 11/30/25.
02
Restructuring Our CRM System
Revamp our customer relations system to better respond to inquiries in a timely manner and serve our customers. This will largely be a big reset button to make things more manageable as it is currently very difficult to field new requests and track current ones. We are not a snobby hype-beast company and do not have an interest in the luxury of ghosting customers.
03
Webstore Housekeeping
Extensive sweeping of the web store to update all product listings to reflect current offerings. There is currently a disconnect on several products between the listing and upgrades/modifications that have been made over the past year.
While we are incredibly thankful for the support that this niche of the market has continued to show us as we grow, it is also important to take stock of the expectations we have for ourselves and what we can do to better meet them. This brief pause to catch up will certainly cause some pain in the short term, but it will also surely be worthwhile in the long term to better serve our customers in the future. We look forward to returning for the Advent Sale with a fresher, faster, and better equipped to honor the trust that our customers place in our hands.
Soli Deo Gloria,
Dane Van Allen, Owner
