Our M4P Bolt Carrier Group takes all of the best features of a Mil-Spec BCG and upgrades it with modern touches to make it dependable, durable, and easy to maintain.
Starting with a full mass, M16-profile carrier, you won't have to suffer through any additional tuning wizardry to make your rifle work. The gas key is extruded from Mil-Spec 4130 alloy, sealed to the carrier, and fastened with staked Grade-8 fasteners. Our cam pin is machined from 4340 alloy and engraved with a "FORWARD" directional marking for consistent installation direction and wear for improved longevity. The firing pin is machined from 8740 alloy, properly heat-treated, and hard-chrome plated. Moving forward to the bolt assembly, the bolt head is machined from Mil-Spec Carpenter No. 158 alloy, shot-peened, and individually High Pressure Tested (HPT) and Magnetic Particle Inspected (MPI). It is also marked with a traceable lot and bolt number, which you can use to easily track round count, age, and usage in your inventory. The extractor claw is precision machined from cold-drawn 4340 steel and features a Sprinco® XP-5 enhanced extractor spring with a rubber insert. The ejector is machined from S7 steel and driven by a Sprinco® enhanced ejector spring. Both Sprinco® springs in the assembly are made from Chrome Silicon wire stock that is heat treated, stress relieved, and cryogenic processed after winding. Compared to standard run of the mill springs, these will have significantly improved duty cycles while maintaining required performance specifications. The whole assembly is coated in a durable Hard Chrome plating that will not flake and crack like some cheaper coatings and maintains exceptional base lubricity in the absence of lubricants. It is also significantly easier to clean than the standard Manganese Phosphate coating found on most Mil-Spec BCGs.
Each bolt carrier group is independently tested for gas flow after assembly to ensure proper function and gas efficiency. The M4P BCG also carries our FYS Limited Lifetime Guarantee, which protects you from problems arising from improper component selection or assembly. As an added bonus, the bolt head, extractor, and firing pin are independently subject to one warranty replacement on account of wear, so you can rack up the round count without having to worry about losing out on replacement costs for a long, long time.
