A REBELLIOUS STRIPE.
The DISSIDENT™ Mk2 Complete Lower constitutes the bottom half of our flagship rifle. It comes standard with several premium features that make it a great plug-and-play option for an upper receiver you already own.
On the outside is a suite of ambidextrous controls including an integral right-side bolt release, optional ambidextrous magazine release, and a GI-style 90-degree ambidextrous selector that delivers smooth, positive engagement and maintains reliable option in the “FIRE” position and predictable safety in the “SAFE” position. We have also included upgraded receiver pins that are slightly oversized to remove some receiver wobble and extended with deep dimples for easier removal. On the inside is our hand-polished Two-Stage Match fire control group with a light 2-lbs take-up stage that gives way to a crisp 2.5-lbs break. This FCG still packs a stout set of springs for consistent primer detonation.
On the back end is an impact extruded 7075-T6 Aluminum 9-position intermediate receiver extension with an oven cured Cerakote® P-109 Micro Slick Dry Film Lubricant coating inside and out. The castle nut is torqued down to TDP-spec 40 lbs-ft and secured in place with a double-staked billet steel QD endplate. Inside the receiver extension is your choice of buffer weight and a Sprinco® "Green" rifle buffer spring.
The receiver comes in a flat black Mil-Spec Type III Hard Coat Anodizing and with your choice of furniture.
As with all our firearms, every component is inspected and assembled by procedure. It is our guarantee that they walk as well as they talk. So, should you encounter any issues arising from component selection or assembly error, we will fix it under the provisions of our FYS Limited Lifetime Guarantee.
