This "Semi-Stripped" configuration of our new third-generation GLC™ Lower Receiver is for those who tinker. It comes with the trigger guard, magazine catch, takedown pin, pivot pin, and bolt catch/release assemblies pre-installed for quick assembly from parts you may already have. Finally, you don't have to buy into a complete rifle to get a truly ambidextrous lower receiver.
At a basic level, it is a high-quality forged 7075-T6 MIL-spec lower receiver. It features a flared magazine well, MIL-spec fire control group pocket, and comes with a tensioning screw to remove any wobble in the fitment with your upper receiver. From there, it is adapted for use with an integral, one-piece ambidextrous bolt catch/release mechanism. This new lever rocks up and down as opposed to the KAC-style push-button, but operates both functions of the bolt catch assembly rather than only working as a release. The purpose behind this product is to give those of you in the market an option to unlock this highly-desirable modern feature while being able to drop-in components you may already have.

As with all our firearms, every component is inspected and assembled by procedure before the complete firearm is test fired with live ammunition. It is our guarantee that they walk as well as they talk. So, should you encounter any issues arising from component selection or assembly error, we will fix it under the provisions of our FYS Limited Lifetime Guarantee.
