THE WORKING MAN'S CARBINE.
The J.O.E.™ Carbine truly lives
up to it's name. Does it have all the glitz and glamor of high-speed triggers
and fancy furniture? Nope. Does that stop it from getting the job done? Nope.
Does this rifle seriously come with a free-float M-LOK® rail, Ballistic
Advantage barrel, H1 buffer, Sprinco® springs, QD endplate, and the FYS Limited Lifetime Guarantee? Yep. The
J.O.E.™ Carbine is an excellent option that leaves room in the
budget for accessories like a light, sling, and optic while delivering
superior quality core components that bolster a solid platform from which to
build. It is perfect new shooters getting their first rifle or those
looking to make a great addition to their rainy-day stash.
The right to self-preservation is granted by
God; the State merely recognizes it. Our mission from our first day in
operation has been to provide responsible Americans with dependable tools to
exercise and protect that right. With the J.O.E.™ Carbine, we sought to spread
those tools to a broader market of shooters. With a basic feature set and modular
fore-end, it is the perfect starter rifle, truck gun, or stockpile cast member
that delivers the same reliability and accuracy as our higher-end offerings
without the premium price tag.
LIKE A GLOVE.
The J.O.E.™ Carbine is our entry-level rifle, but still receives the same attention to detail as our more premium offerings; it is still assembled by hand without compromising on process. The
barrel feed ramps that are ground to match the upper profile and polished
to ensure reliable feeding, the gas block is timed to the barrel with
shallow dimples and cross-drilled and pinned in place a stainless
steel taper pin to retain alignment even if the set screws work loose, and the upper receiver is still lapped to improve shot placement consistency. On the outside, there are many upgrades that set it apart
from the entry-level market. The 6-position adjustable M4 sliding stock
features QD attachment points on both sides of the stock, the full-length M-LOK® rail is free-floated to improve accuracy, and the billet steel
endplate features a QD attachment point. On the inside, the buffer
assembly is fitted with a H1 buffer and Sprinco® "Red" buffer spring that join up to soften the recoil impulse and optimize the lock time in the action.
Combined with the mid-length gas system of the Ballistic Advantage® barrel, this
is one of the softest-shooting rifles in this price bracket.
Since the J.O.E.™ Carbine is built-to-order, there are many options that are available to tailor the rifle to your needs. Available suppressor hosts are timed using shims and installed with Rocksett high-temp ceramic adhesive to keep it locked in place². When opting for a pin/weld configuration, your chosen muzzle device will be paired with an appropriate barrel length and a shortened 12" rail for proper clearance for suppressor mounting. For fine-tuning the gassing of the barrel with a suppressor, the Superlative Arms® Adjustable Gas Block is an excellent option to cut back on gas blowback for a more pleasant shooting experience. For left-handed shooters, we offer optional ambidextrous controls to improve their ease-of-use for you.
Like the build, the warranty for the J.O.E.™ is
anything but average. It carries our FYS Limited Lifetime Guarantee, which protects
you from problems arising from improper component selection, assembly error,
and even wear in the case of the barrel, bolt, extractor, or recoil spring. The upper receiver, barrel, and bolt head are all individually engraved with matching numbers noted on a certificate of authenticity that ships with your rifle for QC during the assembly process and down the line should you need work done on your rifle.
